This is a day to make a difference in the Lake County Community. College of Lake County is creating an opportunity for students and community members to join the rest of the country in service to their community.


We will start the day in the Atrium in front of the college library with some food and speakers to fuel the body and spirit for the day. The volunteers will gather and get to meet their team during breakfast. From there volunteers will volunteer to help with the various needs of the community.

Northpoint Church (CLC Campus) Stuffing Halloween party bags

Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center (Gurnee) Cleaning child therapy areas

CLC Community Gardens (On Campus) Clean garden and winterizing green house

Women's Center (On Campus) Creating center pieces

Parners For Progress (Wauconda) Help maintain horse farm

Gurnee Schools (Gurnee) Replant annuals at new school

CLC Childcare (CLC Campus)  Cleaning child play areas

Girl Scouts (Lake Villa) Maintain Campgrounds

Sunrise Senior Living (Gurnee) Fun exercise, manicures, and bingo with seniors

Community Action Partnership (North Chicago) Clean and repair furnances

Volunteer locations will be available on a first come, first serve basis. When a location is full, volunteers will need to choose a different location. To volunteer at your preferred location, please arrive early.

Please park in lot 4 or 5 and enter the main building through the James Lumber Center, entry B or entry C. Make your way to the north end of the building to find the library. Follow the blue signs.
